Exactly, the X pair is easier to view.

Too big deviation in the anaglyph.
The crosseye the same image pair, but the size is half of any image......so the deviation is half too....

Although very effect as a stereo shot, the base is a bit too wide and tends to stretch the cat in an unnatural way.
