~ South for the Winter ~
(Canada Geese)
This was a stereo that unfortunately suffered from mis-sync due to the
inadequate manual dexterity required for the "two finger sync" method on
fast moving objects in conjunction with split second composition decision
making, timing and focusing a twin rig. (I can come up with a hell of
an excuse when I need to!)
Warning! The subtle depth may not even be noticeable unless the image
is original size.
The solution for the mis-sync was to completely clone the left chip to the
right while adding subtle depth with SPM's clone tool. Had the objects
been larger, I would have added additional depth. In other words, this is
a 2D-3D conversion. I realize it lacks some of the ideal stereo image
qualities such as utilizing "levels" of stereo but I still like it. My
hope is that you too find something about it you like... Maybe the
simplicity or artistic quality. It most likely will not appeal to those
looking for exaggerated depth or possibly even adequate depth. There seems
to be a vast difference of opinion about that on any given day by different
members of our group.
