I'm one who rarely comments on ghosting unless it's severe.  Ghosting is an unavoidable
occurrence because anaglyphs are essentially made up of two semi-transparent ghosts, one reddish,
one cyan-ish, that are piled on one-another.  When one portion of say, the red image sticks out
beyond the edge of the corresponding portion of the cyan image, that edge becomes pronounced--a ghost.

It's these two ghosts that enable us to see an anaglyph in 3-D.  That's why I have learned to psychologically
tune-out most ghosts.

Subject: [Anaglyphs] Ghosting

I brought the topic up of ghosting in the hopes of learning how to prevent it and improve my images. But as has already been pointed up there are some steps that can be taken but still ghosting can occur. In that line of thinking than it seems the ghosting is dependent on our ability to see it, the display to show it and the glasses we use to view it. If all of that is true then why do we comments from the members here that they can see ghosting in an image, maybe others can’t ?

As Marshall says, side by side images produce no ghosting!  ;-)
