Are we in a nursery, military Academy or the Police school or what?
As I said it can happen sometimes and you can be disagree with that but using some adjectives as rude or similar is not appropiate and I repeat again, you can ignor that rare messages in other civilized..noble and beautiful  languages as Italian that appaire in our site sometimes.
By the way from where you come from Mr. Baldwin?
Regards,
Dariush

I disagree Dariush. It is rude. Especially if you translate the message. But then that is my opinion. If you want to send a personal message to your friend then so be it, but I think it is rude to do it on an open forum.

Calling it "rude" is really too much.. however if I underline the message specifing that it's in italian why you open it if you don't know the italian? It dosn't happen often but if happens once in a while, ignor it please, it's not that tragic to be called rude!

Dariush

Is it just me or do others find it rude that personal posts made in other language than English is posted here? I thought this forum was to share?

Ciao,
Dariush

Congratulation Wojtek!

Heres the answer to what was on the 2 pictures I've posted yesterday:
portrait of a (beaten-up) butterfly. Done with MP-E lens on 5x
magnification at f/8. I knew that f/8 (actual f stop was 48, see
explanation on http://pikespeakpho to.com/tests/ canonlens_ mp-e.html)
was too low and one can't get too sharp picture with it (the proper
setting should be f 4). Still, despite the 20 pictures per chip, there
were out-of-focus spots. With f/4 I'd have to make about 100 pictures
per chip and this was prohibitive. It's a large magnification. The
diameter of the eye (narrow side of the oval) is 1mm. Interesting and
unexpected were scales behind the eye (we thought that they covered
only the wings!) and hairs on parts of the eye.
Sorry for a large file size, but I think it's worth it.
Blue is an LED light, and the rest - standard incandescent (lamp) light.

Cheers,
Wojtek
