The amount of time it takes may depend upon what software and method you use as well as artistic talent.  This is tedious work and not for everyone.  I don't keep accurate measurement of time spent on a project.  Often I save it, and open it another day.  As I mentioned to LR, I was almost done and my software crashed on me, loosing the final touches.  Fortunately, I had done a previous save which meant I didn't have to restart from scratch.  This one could be done in a day.

Incredible results! Just amazing. Can you share the amount of time it took to create this masterpiece of conversion so those of us who haven't yet tried this technique have an idea of what it takes when an expert.
