Yes, he did and he was there when Steve and I were. The closest I was ever to him was at the Miss Ball State pagent, one year for Mother's weekend; Letterman MC'd the event and embassed all of us girls and our mothers wondered why anyone like that would be allowed on stage - funny how things work out.

While going through my old photographs, I came across this stereoview I made of Betty in 1971 while we were students at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
I would have made it cha-cha and I think I had a minolta rangefinder camera at that time. There was some damage I tried to correct, but I am happy with the results.
