When I picked up some
of the free glasses, I was a little surprised when I noticed the Red
and Cyan filters are reversed from what we consider normal. The Red
filter was for the right eye instead of the left. I've seen this before
however, when related to a promo of some kind.
To use the glasses
for other than the Michael Jackson Grammy spotlight, simply bend them
the opposite way, so that the text faces inward, and they can then be
used for your normal Red/Cyan anaglyphs with the Red filter over the
left eye. The paper construction works to our advantage in this case.

Subject: [Anaglyphs] Free Red/Cyan 3D glasses at Target until Jan 31.
To all my 3D (Anaglyph) email friends...
A 5 minute 3D film of Michael Jackson's "Earth Song" will be shown on the
Grammy Awards. The 3D glasses required are the same type (Red/Cyan) that
I've given you but manufactured by a different company. Regardless of
whether you watch that or not, if you want more 3D glasses, you can get them for
free at Target Department stores until Jan 31.
They come in sheets of 4 glasses to a sheet. The filtered lenses I'm told
are very good. Of course they are paper frames which will not hold up
forever and that's why I'm suggesting you take this opportunity to stock
up. Get enough for other friends and family members and for when you need
a new pair for yourself. Below is a link about them from a friend of mine
who has created a 3D blog...
Cheers,
Brian
