Wow, the hazards of shooting on the ocean front!  Good choice to save the camera.  Getting one great shot of a wave is not worth losing a camera.  Nice shot, nonetheless.  Pretty girl.

I did a shoot a couple of weeks ago at the Mendocino Headlands we watched the waves crash for a while to decide were we would be then stated shooting catching some waves in the background. I was kneeling on a rock outcropping above her getting ready to take a shot when I say a very large wave out of the corner of my eye I warned her as I stood up the wave went completely over her head and hit me at my waist I was to busy saving my camer to get a shot of the wave hitting but I did get a shot as it receded. Next time I need to make sure my rig is water proof .
