very nice one Mainer! your difficulty to get a "sharp" image from a bright subjects is due of the full automatic light measurement of your camera. The "darker" subjects that suround your bright subject (as these yellow flowers) influece on the camera's diaphragm or timing programs, so if the brighter zone dosn't cover enogh space of the whole image,it becomes a passive victim of the light measurement! Maybe you can fix the flower's light by using some specific photoshop's options. Cheers, Dariush

A cheap lawn ornament. I seem to have trouble getting a sharp shot of bright things such as the yellow flowers. Any suggestions?
