But If you open in SPM the L and R images separately, (single image) and add the fuzzy border, what happens?

I have attached a comparison of the same anaglyph done in SPM with a FW and Fuzzy border and one done using a vignette method added to each chip in PS before adjusting the "float". To me the SPM border ghosting is much more noticeable.
