Hi Flash, I am afraid I am not a systematic worker but largely do things by intuition. I usually, as also in this case, discard previous steps as I feel keeping the intermediate stages would flood the hard disk. In this case I unfortunately discarded the very Fuji W1 photo which was the starting point. It was a garden scene with lots of incoherent elements (plants, bottles, glasses, hands of other persons reaching into the picture), quite an unappealing picture. What I noticed though was the angelic expression on the girl's face ? or so I thought, referring to the visual impression only ? so I isolated the face. It was less than a tenth of the entire photo. Given the way the Fuji works some denoising was necessary. What I have kept is merely the parallel view of the drawing. I think it quite natural in a stereo photo that the two halves disclose different traits. Is that what you mean by ?more detail (being) visible in the left eye image than the right eye?? I normally edit parts of the drawings by hand (on transparent paper which is then scanned, the details are subsequently pasted into the digital drawing), but not so in this case. Incidentally I forgot to edit the lower lip, a thing I do in most instances as the lower lip lacks a clearly defined visual edge merging into the surrounding skin. The casual observer is accustomed to see (or rather: imagine) a thing that is not existent in nature; in order not to disappoint their expectation I draw the contour of the lower lip nearly as sharply as we normally see the upper lip. J.V.

Very attractive model, nice portrait. There seems to be more detail visible in the left eye image than the right eye. I'd like to see the original (pre-effects) image, just for the sake of seeing finer details of this interesting subject, and maybe more straightforward stereo.

Photo of one of my acquaintances turned into a pencil drawing (Gimp, Akvis Sketch & al). Anticipating the usual items of criticism (WV, background irritation, flatness, needless FW, the omnipresent ghosts) I still wonder if others like it / her, too. ? J.V.
