Oh, sorry... I thought you might be talking about the frame on the first
one for some reason. My bad.
I just played around with the fuzzy border, keeping it at 100 fuzziness but
changing the width, shade, and depth as I added more borders. I've done
many in this way in the past. I believe I also used the FW just to add a
wider border at a certain shade, but it's not always necessary. Yes, it
can be used as a FW and that's how I've used it many times in the past.
That's the partial reason here as well, but I also wanted to add a frame and
have the image itself be slightly raised to give it more 3D effect overall from
whatever background it will be viewed from.
Tip:
When working with the fuzzy border in SPM, you can add a color to the
preset so that you don't have to guess at the color when using it additional
times.

John, I'm just going by the lessons in the link I sent
you. This one used preset brushes that I downloaded from the
link. Until then, I wasn't aware that paint brushes could be
like that.
