Big Mouth Bass
I came across this Father and Daughter on a path around Lake Waterford in
Pasadena, MD. I was a bit surprised to notice him carrying this very nice
size Big Mouth Bass, even though I know the lake is stocked with several kinds
of fish. This is definitely the largest I've seen of any kind of fish
pulled from the lake. I almost let him go by before I broke the ice by
asking if that was a large mouth bass. When he responded positively, I
asked if he minded if I got a shot of it. His daughter was standing well
behind him and I mentioned that she could also be in the picture if she
liked. He then encouraged her to get closer. As this was happening I
took a candid shot hoping they wouldn't notice. When he was ready, I took
the posed shot. I then asked if he would like to see the picture and
mentioned that it was a 3D camera (The Fuji W1). I think he was able to
see the 3D effect but judging by his lack of reaction I wasn't sure.
Some people have trouble seeing it even when I say they must be at the right
angle for it to appear as 3D.
He then confided that he hoped the DNR (Department of Natural Resources),
would not spot him at which point I jokingly suggested if that happened, to
hand the fishing pole over to his daughter.
