Hi Alonso,
I would listen to the advice of our friends, Brian Wallace and Dariush Radpour, concerning 3d conversions. This is a great first attempt! If you spent four hours converting this picture then you have the required patience needed for this type of art.
 
 The next step is to get well acquainted with the tools necessary for conversion and figure out what works best for you. My suggestion would be Brian's SPM method, Mike Beech's "Mastering 2d to 3d conversion" book or my tutorial on the photoshop HB method (tutorial part 2 coming soon!).
 
The last step requires LOTS of practice and careful study. Convert as many pictures as you can and study the results. I'm still a novice compared to Brian, Dariush or my flickr buddy Tibor Gyuris (lespola) his work can be viewed here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/50183486(-at-)N04/4917811159/

Hello Buddyes!!!

This  is my first Photoshop 2D-3D PORTRAIT conversion, i know, it needs more work in her eyes, (depth) and nose, (height) but I am very thrilled by all the facilities that you give me and great received help.

I put this first portrait in order that you can see it, I did in Photoshop (THANK YOU BRIAN W.) ant finally at the end, i used SMP with autoalignment and i stop like this, after 4 working hours. You can be hard and severe as possibly... I agree you criticize and suggestions. I know you re good teachers...

Some Tips with Floated windows...???  i try and try but i dont understand...
