Mark,

I did something similar to what you're asking a few years ago.  I can't remember the software I used now.  It may have been PS or a plugin.  I was going for an orb type of shape.  The quality is not that good, and may even contain compression artifacts.  It was a zoomed shot across the cove where I live.   The effect was an experiment and I never posted it.

I think I've seen plugins that can be used for "fisheye" effects, but since I'm not fond of the distortion except as a specific purpose and not a general view, I haven't experimented much using it for anaglyphs.  Generally I believe, post warping an Anaglyph results in misalignment of the stereo to some degree.

Very Nice, Pierre.

Has anyone ever tried to create a fish-eye look with regular photos in Photoshop.  Would be interesting to see how that would turn out as an anaglyph.

A nicer weather has allowed me to take a stroll in the Montmartre district with my new fish-eye rig.
Still a lot of tourists there!
When the framing allows, it's possible to extract a rectangle in the circular image.
By the way, the stairs are not round but straight!

Pierre Meindre.
