What children do -
Taken at Lake Waterford Park in Pasadena, Maryland.
The father came over and said, "Sorry for her ruining your shot",
apparently thinking I was only trying to get a shot of the geese. Knowing
that his child was a handful, requiring him to break away at a split
second, I simply said, "Kids, you gotta love 'em", to which he whole heartedly
agreed, seemingly wanting to continue the conversation but
alas... The child's activity inspired a nearby young boy to join
in on some mischievous geese chasing and the father was once again off in
pursuit. In the back of my mind I couldn't help being a little
concerned since some domesticated geese have been known to pursue people,
including adults, and the embankment was in close proximity.
I don't know why the park even bothers posting signs that say, "Please do
not feed the ducks and geese".
