I've never quite understood the attraction to "fisheye" lenses accept in an occasional use of a special effect.  Even then, I would use it sparingly, but that's just me.  I'm not fond of the distortion of the images done with the fisheye lenses even in 2D.  Fortunately we all see things differently in the world.  Your adapter appears to work well for 3D.  I like the fact that even the distorted edges appear to be aligned as a 3D image.

 

Does it work in 2D mode as well?

 

Maybe you can market the product.  There is already development (as I think you know) in the macro area of adaptors for the W3 and possibly the W1 later.
