Finally, when I finished off the film in the two cameras, I peeled off the tape and took the two cameras back to "Walgreens" (I am assuming that those outside the U.S. also know of "disposable cameras" or "use once" cameras in which, after taking photos, you simply submit the entire plastic camera to the photo developer.

(I would liike to note that, to avoid cost and waste, after the film is removed, the developer removes and reuses key parts of the cameras in "newly assembled" cameras that are then repackaged and re-sold.)

After submitting the two cameras, the next day, I picked up the two Picture CDs, and aligned the images with a freeware program I found online.

I chose to reduce the pictures to gray scale (black and white) because one could not obtain particularly crisp or brilliant colors with such basaic, inexpensive cameras...

So for an investment of $14 {US] per photo shoot, for the two cameras, and $16 [US] to create the two picture CDs, with a basic, online, freeware anaglyph creator downloaded from the net, I am able to submit these photos of San Francisco to you.

After I created these anaglyphs it occurred to me that a child could use this home-made rig, without fear that an expensive camera rig mght be dropped or broken or thrown out of alignment. As long as the cameras were attached side by side securely, and the child was instructed not to "twist" the cameras, and could push the two shutters as close to the same time as possible, two disposable cameras simply taped securely side by side can produce fairly decent anaglyph results. Last, (and those of us who remember our childhood know how important this is, ) without fear of breaking or losing expensive equipment, a child could have the freedom to "go off on their own" and experiment with limited technical supervision.

I hope the group can enjoy the photos I will be taking with this method. The quality is not great, so I will have to strive for content!
Dave/San Francisco
