The concept of the stereo window is one of the most basic in stereo
photography. It is, in effect an imaginary
window frame that surrounds the image. Objects in the image can
sometimes seem to be coming off the plane
of the view and extending off the screen, a phenomenon known as ?coming
through the stereo window.?
There is much to say on this subject and hopefully as you note our comments
on posted views, as well as perform outside research you?ll
get a full understanding of what the stereo window is, and how to use it
effectively. All I have time to say to sum up is that knowledge of
the
SW is absolutely essential to indulging in 3-D photography!
