My Fuji W3 has arrived and I've been getting used to it. I find that my fingers keep showing up in many of the images, even though I try to be careful to keep them out of the way. The pictures look great on the monitor on the back of the camera, but when converted into color anaglyph using the latest version of SPM, I find that most shots look pretty bad and need a lot of working on. These improvements include increasing the contrast, kicking up the color saturation, making the dark tones blacker and often the whites whiter, as well as increasing the sharpness. These changes can dramatically improve the quality of the anaglyph, but they don't seem quite as good as the results I often got using the cha-cha method with my simple Canon PowerShot 630A. But I must admit that the Fuji does nicely solve the problem of timing. It is a great advantage to have the stereopair taken at the same moment with the same camera.

There is a nursery near me called Brock Farms, in Freehold, NJ. They alway set-up a Halloween barn - sales area. I figured that this would be a very place to give the Fuji a test drive.
