We had a gig at Churchill Downs this morning, home of the world-famous Kentucky Derby. I had never noticed this display before. Someone has created a replica of the track, grandstand (with people), and infield...all with glass figurines.
3D "saves" this shot. It much harder to view in 2D.
BTW (Brian, et al), I saw a 50" Panasonic Viera 3D TV on display at Sears this evening. Wow! The demo footage was extraordinary. Most of it was live (not animated).
Getting one is number one on my bucket list.
More trivia: part of the demo was a Sarah Brightman music video. She captured my heart when I saw her in person about ten years ago. In 3D it was like having her stand right in front of me!
