Hmmm.... subjective I guess.  It looked quite good to me, in fact I was pleasantly surprised because my first thought was painting out the sign which would not be hard but considerably more effort.

The same concerns occurred to me, but when I tried to put the crop into practice something didn't look quite right.

The gal has a beautiful face but if you'd like a little better overall quality and less ghosting, try cropping the left side to eliminate the white music schedule sign in the background causing contrast ghosting to the right of it.  I've already tried it to test my theory but I know how you are opposed to posting a modified version of your image even if it's to help explain a point.
