I continue to present highlights from the eight days of
happenings during the 2010 Harvest Festival.
The North American Cultural Laboratory, or NACL is a
company of actors who indulge in highly imaginative
and experimental stage performances. About ten
years ago I befriended the founder, whose young
performers appeared as bizarre characters on stilts
while parading around at the various summer street fairs
in Sullivan County. The troupe has won wide critical
acclaim and is considered one of the area's cultural
treasures.
That's why the NACL felt right at home as they
extended their long arms and legs to greet the delighted
visitors to the Harvest Festival
