Returning to the Harvest Festival, another annual
favorite makes its appearance: the alpacas.
I swore that this year I would resist being drawn to
these cute and so very gentle creatures. I would
avoid posting stereos, always knowing that it's
impossible not to love these creatures, yet there I was,
photographing those cuddly things again!
There are several large alpaca farms, most of which are
located just a short distance from the
Festival site. My wife checked the prices of local
sweaters made from the alpacas and concluded that
it would be cheaper to fly to their native Peru,
purchase a sweater from one of the native Incas,
and fly home.
