I haven't had that problem you're speaking of.  I just tried it after reading your post and there were no problems.  I'm running Windows 7 and SPM is V 4.32.

 

Sorry you lost your work.  I hate it when that happens.

Have you ever run into this problem with SPM: click file>save left/right images, and then you see an error message that says "Cannot make BMP"?  When you click on OK it says "Cannot make save data." 

 

I just lost 40 min of work due to this.

Thanks Duke.  The same thought occurred to me but I've seen some other ones that reminded be of a wormhole effect as well.  Kinda gets the imagination stirring a bit.

I've never seen a Chaoscope design quite like that one.  Very cool.  Brings to mind a wormhole between two points in the universe.
