One Look... (and I was hooked).Today I did a conversion of this photo I took in 2007 while attending the Maryland Seafood Festival at Sandy Point State Park. I'm afraid back in those days I was not taking pictures at a high resolution or saving larger dimensions. I increased the image pixel count and dimensions today via Photoshop in preparation for a conversion since the incidental portrait has been a favorite of mine.The image was cropped from a larger picture that included her Mom who was not facing my camera. It would probably be more forthright to say that I was trying to get a candid shot without being detected. I was fortunate however, that my lens caught the child's line of sight squarely towards me for an instant. I was taken aback when I (either correctly or incorrectly), perceived a sort of wisdom and intelligence emanating from her little half smile expression, almost as if words were not needed for communication.
