Very nice image Mike.  A lot of time and effort goes into real HDR.  I'm sure the advocates for HDR will say the results are worth it, but it's just so much easier using tone mapping.

This view is looking out from within the mortuary chapel at Tumacacori Mission, south of Tucson, Arizona.

HDR w/Photomatix processing, D200, Nikon 18-70mm lens set at 18mm, slide-bar, PS CS3. For the HDR, I shot 7 shots for the left and 7 for the right in RAW, 1 f-stop apart and used the shots 1, 3, 5, and 7 for processing in Photomatix. That uses up a Compact Flash Card pretty quickly (roughly 225 Mb).
