Deriving inspiration from my recent acquisition of a microscope as previously posted, I bought another, but one for viewing in stereo.
Then I acquired a USB camera designed to be inserted into the eyepiece tube(s ) , enabling  right and left chips
to be made for 3-D photography.  Each image was then opened in Photoshop, enhanced, and finally converted to an anaglyph
in SPM. 
 
This is my first attempt.  At left is the small rock that became the subject for the resulting ana at right.  The main drawback,
which may be insurmountable is the shallow depth-of-field due to the high magnification.  In the future I may have to
use smaller subjects to get around the DOF situation.  It looks like there will be lots of upcoming experimentation in store!
