Hello Mike--
First and foremost I avoid shooting the sky as much
as possible, unless it's my primary subject (rarely).
With a broad feather in Photoshop I surround the sky
imprecisely with the lasso tool and in Image>Adjustments
and while wearing my anaglyph glasses I either saturate
or de-saturate until the sky is as neutral as possible,
while still maintaining some color.

Hi Marshall,
What is your favorite method for
overcoming a rivalrous sky?

Amazing action capture. Far outshines the
flaws, ie focus and rivalry in sky. Conversion so good
that
it almost seems unreal.
