Ghost Ship
This is a subject I tried to create several times in the past. I
believe my skill level and tools are now at a point that allows a relatively
decent depiction of what I wanted to accomplish. I hope you like it.
The ship is the historic USS Constellation which is docked at Baltimore's
Inner Harbor.
Using PS, I tried to hide the surrounding area so that only the ship was
viewable. I then converted the image of the ship from 2D to 3D using
PS. The atmospheric "effects" consist mainly of an overlaid Chaoscope
design plus some vignette treatment. Both the ship and Chaoscope design
were made 50% transparent via PS. The entire image was set behind the
stereo window via SPM.
