Some of you may remember the
Iconic Bridge which I posted ages ago. The lament was that it was about to be pulled down. Well it was but instead of replacing it with one bridge they replaced it with two. (which made no-one happy!) They were supposed to retain as much of the original bridge as possible. You can see from the first image that they made the sides and underneath look like the original but most of the old timber was discarded.
