I have no intention to convince anybody about my point of view here but please don't interprate other member's polite silence as an approval of your or mine reactions or theories! The majority of the educated people.. prefere stay appart in the subjective argumantations where they belive to have no clear or convinced ideas or don't want to waste their time as we are doing in this moment...and as I see, you continue to talk only about the technique, here. Only about my limited technical knowlage and information!!! It's amazing!!
I have no personal positive or negative position regarding you because I don't know you yet but I can reasonably re-act about what you say and what you do inside of this group as an anaglyph photographer.
Ciao,
Dariush

Dariush!
My version isnt a better artistic work...of course...it is only about the parallax issue....
You are the only one person in this world who is thinking other....this is your big limitation dearest Dariush...!!! :-))
Ruin? Destroy? hahaha....ridiculous..... Perhaps for language barriers you never understand me....and I think in the future will be the same...because you dont want or cannot understand me.... I suppose it is caused or by your limited knowledge regarding the techincal informations or it is a personal offensive versus me....
You must decide which is true....
Otherwise Pierre is one of the greatest stereophotographer and this image was made intentionally for monitor, I'm sure.
Pierre's experience is so big and large regarding mine....so I cannot give to him any suggestion...
In this question you are right!!!

Imre

Big or littl projection, your version is ugly and unpersonal! I perfectly understand what is a difference between the large size anaglyph projection and the small one but that dosn't justify to ruin and compromise somebody's photograph, thought and composed in a certain way! We can pretend that the image should be take one more time with a different stereobase but we can not cancel some important elements from the picture just because in the large size projection it can't be watched correctly!! By my opinion you are sooooo focused on the tecnical aspect of the image that you become blind on the other very important aspects of the photography, its subject, composition and its balance, so its beauty! You are talking about my brain's limitation... you have a Great courage Imre! I suspect that you brain is switched off on the aesthetics matter in general. It's fine and normal, half of the humanity has no idea about the beauty in general.. but please continue to theorize your helpful technical opinions without insisting to modify other members images deprive them from their beauty justifying your action only because you are an old boy in this God Damn 3D issue!
As you see, we come back frequently on this specific issue and you continue to insist on the mathematical, sceitifical and technical aspect of this fragile, creative, emotional and Artistic expression (photography) with some basic tecnical principles.
Have a good week end,
Dariush

Hi Dariush!
You are without of any serious knowledge regarding the binocular vision, so your opinion cannot influence nothing....
My suggestions are for people who want proiect the own works on big screens, not only on little monitors.
The problems on a little monitors are little, so we can easy correct the fusion with our eyes...but on a big screen this little problems become very very BIG....
I know well, you will never accept this position because your vision configuration is limited to a monitor....
And this limit perhaps limits your brain to accept some opinions....for me not a problem if you are limited...

Your version is just ugly, wrong composed and ridicolois Imre!!! You ruined Pierre's image with your non sense cuts! Are you fine, man?!!! And this un-happy invention and use of floating image that cancel any familiar and real sensation with the reality and real depth!!! :-(   maybe you are enogh old in this matter but sometimes you have a bizzare taste and way to present the stereo images specially the other's works! I am not absolutly agree with you regarding this Pierre's photo!
And, "Less is more" is an interesting motto.., but has little to do with 3D photography as you know!

ciao,
Dariush

Hi Pierre!
I'm in the stereoscopy from more than 12 years....so I'm an old boy...:-)))
After this long time I belive what I dont believed before....: Less is more....
The fusion capacity is only one side of the stereoscopy, the other side is the eye-brain-perception axe, what tell to us: what is real and what is irreal...I'm sure you understand me...:-)
I can fuse well your excellent hyper 3D of course, and I admire it!!! But I think, less is more....
See my crop...
Cheers: Imre

Thanks Duke and the others that have commented my picture!

Give it enough light and the Aiptek can produce some decent still images.

Probably! They usually put the jails in the basement, where it's dark and damp...

I should have cropped more of the picture: the upper part of the sky, being nearly featureless and the water that looks (now that I'm more awake that when I posted the image!) a little wrong due to the cha-cha (even if the water was very still) and the window violation at the bottom.

Perfect degree of hypering.  Impressive castle, and I'm also impressed with the image quality of the Aiptek.
