I prefer the version with the floating window because the ghosts have been profoundly reduced and the floating window is not so extreme as to be unavoidably conspicuous.  For me, the lack of ghosts was well worth the incorporation of the FW which is an ingenious method to reduce ghosts while avoiding window violations.
