I am pleased you are not offended and understand your intentions. In this group it probably doesn't matter much but if you post to Fractal Forums or Deviant Art for example, you'd be severely critcised as most of the images, even when the params are supplied, are copywrited. I have attached my version of Menger Trees to show what is acceptable. The formulae as far as I can remember, are the same but the image deviates sufficiently from the original. I post on Deviant Art and the accepted method is to attribute the original parameters and provide a link to where you got them. If interested you can see one of my MB3 here: http://jucarbi.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d3akzqm

I seem to recall you saying something like that before Jay. You don't offend me but although many of the parameters I've experimented with remain "close" to the original "2D" design, there have been many "experimental" tweaks and I've retained the original name within my file description, hopefully to attribute credit to the original author of the parameter design. Once I'm through all the available parameters in an effort to better understand the application, my intent is to try adjusting more drastically to achieve a more original rendering. The parameters included with the program also are presented in 2D, possibly with the assumption of others converting them to 3D which is actually quite a change from the included 2D parameters. Just sayin...Brian----- Original Message -----From: JucarbiSent: Wednesday, June 29, 2011 3:34 AMSubject: Re: [Anaglyphs] Octahedron Parameter - Duke/BrianI hope not to offend you, Brian, but in the fractal community it is not considered OK to post using other's parameters unless you do change the results to something original.

I appreciate your comment Duke. I feel funny saying "thank you" because the original parameter was preset. I tweaked some options but after I get a feel for things, I should be able to really change the results to something more original.Brian----- Original Message -----From: DukeSent: Wednesday, June 29, 2011 2:00 AMSubject: Re: [Anaglyphs] Octahedron ParameterWow, ultra cool and very alien-looking!DukeOn Wed, Jun 29, 2011 at 1:26 AM, Brian Wallace <Starg82343(-at-)hotmail.com> wrote:
