I love taking hypers from a high vantage point of distant scenes. This shot was taken from the edge of a hill in the knobs just north of the city where I live. The view includes a part of New Albany, Indiana, and the buildings of downtown Louisville, Kentucky just across the Ohio River. I used a moderate telephoto setting on my zoom lens, and the stereo base was at least 75 feet (23 M). The deviation is large in this shot, but should be easy to handle if you start at the foreground at the bottom, and work your way back to the distant background. My next post will show a Google Earth overview of this shot. Panasonic Lumix, cha-cha, SPM, Photoshop CS2. Duke |
