as they reveal by their gawks the dreams and
fantasies they harbor. Automobiles are a major source of problems, from
pollution, the expense of driving and upkeep, the countless fatal
accidents, the costs of building roads and bridges. Yet, they are an
abundant well of love and lore. What other instrument can offer the
average person a conduit to most anywhere, while at the same time, warming
us when cold, cooling us when hot, lighting up the darkness,
entertaining us with music or movies, and even sometimes offering a portable
haven for sex? Yes, the Car is king!
