Marshall,
Not only am I not afraid to elaborate on what I recognize might be wrong
with my own image, but I take steps to describe possible solutions.
These things only help myself and hopefully others through shared knowledge and
ideas. I don't try to hide my faults, in order that I
might learn and improve upon them through the eyes and
suggestions of fellow associates with mutual interests. The idea of this
forum is not for hiding faults, but for learning how to improve upon them.
Recognizing one's own flaws is the first step to correcting them. There
may be plenty left over for others to expound upon that I missed. Letting
the image stand on it's own merits does nothing unless you're displaying it for
competition. The last time I looked, this site was for sharing, not
competing. Sorry if attempting to share the methods or tribulations
involved with the creation of a stereo image takes the wind out of someone's
sails who might end up without the sole opportunity to rag on it
themselves. In such cases maybe I'd rather beat you to the punch.
I'm very sorry you don't appreciate my efforts!
Brian

Winter
I like this view for its
elegance and simplicity, despite there being almost no stereo relief.
It's hard to appreciate
the postings of anyone who feels the need
to expound on what's wrong with a picture,
rather than letting it stand on its own
merits without excuses or apologies.
