I commented on that view and its FW because I thought it
made for a worthy comparison to the other two from that set of postings.

FW's don't fix, but sometimes hide ghosts, usually with only moderate
success.  I don't think it's wrong to use tools to cover-up or even
eliminate flaws, but sadly, FWs mostly call attention to such flaws,
robbing an otherwise worthy image of the greater recognition it may deserve.

I read all of the floating window sparring that took place in the last few weeks. As so many said, a floating window is just another tool and does have a place in the creation of anaglyphs. I honestly think that some posters could benefit from using them once in a while. I use them only when I feel there are no alternatives to fixing severe ghosting.

In this case the caution was a failed attempt at sarcasim. However I speciffically recall Marshall stating that he would not comment on any post using a floating window and that was in part my reason for the caution. I would have prefered that he kept his promise.

I like the splendid isolation of the first two views that show Nature at its best.  Sorry, but
any view that requires a cautionary introduction is best un-posted, or at least, made available
off-line.  This view simply induces a lot of visual pollution.  Although I've come to grudgingly
accept the FW as a legitimate tool on limited occasions, this view is not one of them.

I don't have any complaints about views where the inclusion of people are appropriate
for the surroundings, like in an urban setting, or elsewhere where people seem to fit
right into the surroundings. But in the Oyster River setting, it's refreshing NOT to see people.

Nothing special, but Brian asked if I had one of my friend. This is Kyle looking for the best way through heavy growth along the edge of the Oyster River. People are rare in my posts.

Ghosts on the jacket were unacceptable without a FW.
