It's time for my 2nd Annual (more or less) Photo
Contest open exclusively to members of the Anaglyphs
Group.
This year I have expanded the number of allowed
submissions from three to five. All entries must not
have
been previously posted to this group or any other
forum. All entries must be emailed directly to me, and need
not
conform to the size limitations of the Anaglyphs
Group.
The theme is "Hidden Treasure," and entries will be
judged on the basis of originality, general interest, and
overall technique. All entries will remain
confidential until the date when the winner of the contest
will
be announced and his/her entry will be posted,
sometime during the month of March, 2010. Final entry
date
is February 20th at 11:59 PM in accordance
with participant's world time zone. At
the time when the winning
entry is announced, a detailed judgement commentary
will be included.
THE PRIZE: The winning entry will be sent
postage-free a brand-new Wacom Bamboo graphics tablet and
pen.
This device is one of the standard tools used by
professionals for editing and preparing digital images,
including
photos and paintings. Unlike a mouse, the Wacom
graphics pen and tablet allow the user total and
comfortable
control, just as if one is drawing with a pen, paint
brush, pencil, or other artist's implement. Once you start
using
a graphics pen you will never want to use a mouse for
photo editing again! This device is compatible with
both
the Windows and Mac environments, and updated drivers,
if needed are available at www.wacom.com. Also
included
is a bundled copy of Corel Painter Essentials
4.0.
ADDITIONAL RULES: 1) All entries must be
submitted as .jpeg anaglyphs. 2) The entrant understands that
my decision of the winner is
final;
3) The Contest will be voided in the event that if by
the deadline either a total of less than eleven [11] entries are received,
or only three members are
participants.
Should there be questions, please contact me
offline. Good luck to all Contest entrants.
