This palace, (Palazzo Bonaparte) situated at the northern corner of the Venezia Squ. is famous in Rome because inhabited by Madame Letizia Ramorino, mother of Napoleon Bonaparte, who spent part of her old age until death, looking at the Roman every day life traffic behind the closed shutters of this green painted balcony without being seen. She died in 1836.
