Hi!
The British Musem ( free to visit , free photography ) is the best museum in my all life...
Unfortunately I dont had enough time to visit all it....what is impossible in only one day.
I was interested about the Egypt, Roman and Greek collections.....
In the Napoleon period Egypt was robbed at the maximum...and all of the material now is in the British Museum and in the Louvre of Paris.
Today Egypt tries to get back this fantastic material...but seem ..it is impossible...
In the British Museum there is the famous Rosetta Stone too, what was the key for the decipherment of the ancient Egyptian hielogrifas...
On this stone was written in 3 languages a law of a town....
1. Hielogrifas
2. New egyptian
3. Greek
With the help of this stone
Jean-François Champollion and Thomas Young resolved the old mystery.....and today we can traduce the hielogrifas...
I dont have 3D image of this stone, because it is too flat for the 3D photography...:-(((((

Apart of this famous stone....the British Museum is a fantastic place for everybody, particularly for photographers...
I try to share this museum with my 3D shots...

Imre
