I must have missed the part where some anaglyphs were "requested" somehow, bit I'm very glad you posted a response.

I was a fan of Babylon Five although I didn't realize it started with the pilot that long ago in June of 1992.  I remember being very pleased that they made an effort to make the aliens look alien rather than humanoid like Star Trek TNG and it's predecessors purposely did thinking the audience would more easily relate to them.  I was also disappointed when the show switched to cable after a few seasons on regular TV when I don't subscribe to cable.  That’s when I lost contact with the show and what happened with the series.

As requested, here are some anaglyphs from the TV series Babylon Five - I was part of the Foundation Imaging visual effects team starting with the pilot in June of 1992 (here's a bit of trivia I don't think anyone knows - the close up image here, which features the Vorlon ship docking, was the very first shot ever rendered for the show).

For those of you unfamiliar, B5 was an important milestone in visual FX history - it was the first time EVER that computer graphics had been used to replace traditional models and cameras - the cgi revolution began right here :-)

In fact, the entire VFX process employed by companies today across the globe (utilizing inexpensive PCs and off the shelf software) was something we at Foundation Imaging invented by the seat of our pants.  No one had done it before - there was no manual, no tech support and no online forums to turn to - we just wrote the book one day at a time.

It was a very exciting project and Foundation's founder - Ron Thornton - deserves much of the credit for kickstarting the entire industry.
