Duke--
I NEVER said that Dariush was wrong, although Imre said
I was wrong about the floating window, and it was
because I was unable to create a FW,
yet no one raised objections to his statement.
I expressed a view on Dariush's posting and backed it up
with my reasons. Isn't that a valid means of debating? Is it
possible that
my views rankled some because down inside they know that
my concerns are valid?
But what some don't seem to remember is that I have
always advocated that members have a right to speak out and
disagree
with anything I, or anyone else mentions. In fact
I have long BEGGED that members feel free to critique my postings, so long
as
they don't resort to personal attacks.
I NEVER said that one MUST perform tasks in accordance
to my preferences. If some think that I did they should re-read
my
comments. I don't use the phrase, "IMHO" or
similar statements because I take it as a GIVEN that anything I, or anyone
else says is an
OPINION. Although I didn't look favorably on
Dariush's faceless posting, I never said that doing so was "wrong." but
I DID state why I believed
that showing faces USUALLY produces more effective
views.
